Island life: Enjoying February's Temperatures

Enjoying February in Mallorca with above-average temperatures, vibrant blue skies, breathtaking sunrises and an abundance of spring blossoms sweeping the streets this time of year! Mallorca offers a quality of life like no other, in this article would love share some reasons as to why we believe this and ideas of what you can get up to this time of year.

It's breathtaking beauty, warm weather all year round and lifestyle is one in a million, especially during these quieter months on the island. If you are lucky enough to call this your home, here are some ideas of what you could get up to in this weekend in one of our favourite spots, Port Andratx.

Hike La Trapa

La Trapa is one of the most beautiful routes along the west Coast. There are several starting points which are dependant on how far you'd like to go, the duration can vary from 1 to 3 hours. It is a relatively easy trek, suitable for all hiking levels and throughout the time you will enjoy breathtaking views over La Dragonera and the South West coast.

Yoga & Brunch

Calm Collective Mallorca are offering classes in Port Andratx which start at around 10am. You will be guided through a 90 minute yoga flow and meditation which is followed by a delicious brunch at a local deli.

Enjoy some Art

There’s a decent collection of small commercial art galleries dotted around the port where you can browse and buy pieces from both local and international artists. If that doesn’t scratch your arty itch, head to the CCA just outside Andratx town – it’s the largest contemporary art centre on the island.

Port Andratx is one of the most sought-after locations to live on the island. If you have not yet visited, we would highly recommend taking a stroll down the promenade to appreciate it's beauty and discover its quaint shops and restaurants.

Of course, it offers a plethora of luxury properties, including Villas, Penthouse Apartments and Townhouses, majority of which are within short walking distance to the port and within close proximity to Club de Vela, where lots of residents moor their boats to enjoy time at sea during the summer months.
